Project Build Up (PBU) is a Grant and Community Support Initiative funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (MDPH) (OPGS) and administered by (HRiA).Ìý

PBU is designed to strengthen the capacity of outpatient substance use or gambling treatment agencies to provide or promote problem gambling treatment services. This program is focused on helping agencies create culturally responsive practices that address health and racial equity to support communities that are disproportionately impacted by problem gambling.Ìý

PBU ProgramsÌý

PBU Grant Program – PBU funding aims to build overall organizational capacity to address problem gambling treatment. All MDPH outpatient substance use treatment programs and organizations with clinical treatment capacity are eligible to apply.Ìý

PBU Learning Academy – The PBU Learning Academy is an intensive training for clinicians and alliedÌýhealth professionals to learn how to support populations that are disproportionately impacted by problem gambling. By engaging community experts and organizations working within these communities, the Learning Academy provides participants with skills and tools to support clients and family members in treatment.Ìý

Applications for this training will be open three (3) separate times a year. Ìýabout this training opportunity.Ìý
